Bourby Webster, Founder & CEO of Perth Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has broken the rules in her industry because her mission is "Music for everyone."
The PSO was founded in 2011 with a massive ambition to reach a new audience; retain talent in West Australia; create jobs and; showcase talent. Since 2011, the PSO has performed to over 350,000 people from Karratha through to Kwinana in West Australia. Playing Vivaldi to Nirvana. They've paid over $2 million in fees to over 150 musicians and created pathways into careers.
Bourby supports community engagement programs. In 2019 she was West Australian of the Year in Arts & Culture. A winner of the 40 under 40 Entreprenuers and a Finalist in the Telstra Business Woman of the Year Award.
